Managing Unread Reply Notifications

Email and text notifications help you stay up-to-date with replies and incoming text messages that require your attention. If you happen to be in the account and view the response, you won't get a notification. However, if you're not in the account at the time that a response comes in, you'll receive an email or text notifying you (or your team) that a response/unread text message has come into the account.

By default, daily email notifications will be sent at 9:00 AM. However, you can manage these alerts directly within your account to change the time interval, times of day, and days of the week that you'd like to receive notifications.

There are two places in your account where you can manage notifications:

Through the Notifications page:

1. Hover over the name in the top right hand corner and click Settings from the drop down menu.

2. Click Notifications on the left hand side.

  • To add a new notification, click the Add Unread Message Notification button and select the text number you'd like to enable for notifications.
  • To edit an existing notification, hover over the text number listed and click the Edit icon to right or anywhere on the highlighted row.

3. Check the box to the left of the notification type that you'd like to enable: email, text, or both.

4.  Edit the parameters for the notifications by clicking change. The default settings will send notifications every 15 minutes, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Sunday through Saturday (if you have any new unread messages).

  • Intervals: Can be sent every 15 minutes, every hour, or every day.
    • Reminder: If you happen to be in the account and view a text reply, you won't get a notification. Notifications are only sent for unread, new replies.
  • Time/Days: Select start and end times along with days of the week that you'd like notifications to be sent.

5. Click Save to confirm your selections.

Through the Notifications page, you can also manage the destinations where alerts are sent.

  • Email notifications are sent to the email address on file for the account. You can change the email address that receives notifications through the Profile section of the Settings page.  Please note: Changing the email address will apply to the account as a whole and all Call-Em-All emails will be sent to the updated email address.
  • Text notifications must be sent to a cell phone number.  You can edit this text number at any time.
    • Notifications to your cell phone will come from the same number each time.  Replies to this number are not monitored.
