Using Text Templates in Inbox

Save and add previously created text messages into your new and existing conversations.

In this article

Create a New Template in New Conversation

  1. Click Start Conversation
  2. Add your recipients
  3. Click Add Templates icon (tooltip says: "Use a template from your message library")
  4. Click Create Template
  5. Give your template a name
  6. Type your template message
  7. Click Create

Add a Template in New Conversation  

  1. Click Start Conversation
  2. Add your recipients
  3. Click the Add Templates icon (tooltip says: "Use a template from your message library")
  4. Select the desired template by clicking on it.

Add a Template in an Existing Conversation

  1. Click on the desired conversation 
  2. Click the Add Templates icon (tooltip says: "Use a template from your message library")
  3. Select the desired template by clicking on it 

Add an Image to an Existing or New Template in a New or Existing Conversation

  1. Click the Add Templates icon (tooltip says: "Use a template from your message library") from your New or Existing Conversation
  2. Hover over the template and click the Edit icon shaped like a pencil or click Create Template
  3. Click the Insert Image icon
  4. Select your image
  5. Click Save or Create

Edit an Existing Template

There are two ways to edit an existing Template from the Inbox page.

1) You can also edit a template before adding it to your conversation.

  • Click the Add a Template icon on the text composer.
  • Hover over the template you wish to edit.
  • Click the Edit icon that looks like a pencil.
  • Edit your template 
  • Click Save

2) You may edit a template after it has been added to your message directly in the text field. Edits will not be saved.
