Sending a Text Only Broadcast

As a best practice, we highly recommend using the "Voice & Text" combination message type instead of text only. This Message Type allows you to send a text message to all of the cell phone numbers provided and allows you to record a voice message to be sent to the landlines in one step.  View this article for more information.

To continue sending a "Text Only" broadcast, follow the steps below:

Click the  CREATE A BROADCAST tab at the top of the page after logging in.

Give your broadcast a name

Select “Text Only” as the Message Type and name the broadcast.

Decide when you want your broadcast to start - immediately or at a specific date and time in the future.

Message types include:

Confirm the text number

Decide who you want to receive this message. You have three options:

  • Add Contacts - will add numbers that are saved from your CONTACTS section
  • Upload - allows you to upload a file
  • Add Individually - provides a form to enter numbers in manually

**Please note: Call-Em-All is only able to send text messages to textable numbers (cell phones).  We are not able to send texts to landlines.

Enter your text message in the text box.  Messages that are 160 characters or less require one credit per recipient. Messages that are more than 160 characters will use an additional credit per recipient Messages that include a picture image will default to 2 credits per number.

**Text messages can be personalized if the contacts contain the name or notes details.  Messages can also be saved as templates and used again from the message library

Review the three previous sections to make sure everything is correct then click "Schedule Broadcast"
